And btw.....Donald Brown averaged 4 yds. per carry on 27 attempts for the game. What else would you call it?? As for the second half, you should probably consider the fact that UConn started 3 or 4 drives inside its own 5 yd. line or worse. That pretty much limits the offensive playbook and curtails any sound running game. Somehow you neglected to mention that in your post about the 2nd half.....an oversight I'm sure.
So, I recommend you congratulate yourself on the win....give a thumbs up to the goalpost and get ready for your next game.HuskyDad65https://www.blogger.com/profile/10211982717589913771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225267769050960910.post-23715983257693507402008-10-20T23:05:00.000-04:002008-10-20T23:05:00.000-04:00Consider for a second that I actually am a Rutgers...Consider for a second that I actually am a Rutgers fan, as I'm assuming that's the reference you are trying to make. Does it make any difference in the factual basis of my post? I just questioned whether or not we should consider a half of football where you average .5 yards per carry, a sound running game. Apparently you do. Pretty interesting analysis. Enjoy the rest of the season, where you couldn't muster up a win over the hapless Rutgers team. I can see the pain in your post, wear it like a badge.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09683492987952017519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225267769050960910.post-33397035678752049922008-10-20T22:19:00.000-04:002008-10-20T22:19:00.000-04:00Frank:When they finish the stadium expansion are t...Frank:

When they finish the stadium expansion are they going to take donations to buy a trophy case?

I figure by the time the stadium expansion is done you'll actually have a need for the trophy case. In order to give a solid synopsis one needs to truly understand the game, how it's played, and why it makes sense to run the football when it's inside of your own 1 yard line...twice.

Finish strong!futureuconndadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14171325004276563878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225267769050960910.post-17522132069703170182008-10-20T14:59:00.000-04:002008-10-20T14:59:00.000-04:00Thanks frank. Thanks frank.Frats_Froshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03871962406411632134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225267769050960910.post-33484008786000305552008-10-20T14:13:00.000-04:002008-10-20T14:13:00.000-04:00The running game was sound? Brown had a net of 6 yards on 12 carries in the second half, which includes that -2 for the safety, which ended up being the difference in the game.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09683492987952017519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225267769050960910.post-21916193241610117672008-10-20T13:21:00.000-04:002008-10-20T13:21:00.000-04:00I guess Schiano looks like Richard Kind in that ph...I guess Schiano looks like Richard Kind in that photo, but not generally.

Blogged at nj dot com slash rutgersfootballJohn D. Was at the game Saturday- tough loss to handle, but I did get to meet huskydad65 and hang with Robbie Fyre's family.

I agree with you that the better team did not win that game, BUT it is over now. Regroup and kick the crap outta Cincy this weekend.Jamie Giantoniohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06473668061876359440noreply@blogger.com
