I am the last person to shamelessly plug products or people (sorry Dad). Something was brought to my attention today that I think needs mentioning and more importantly, needs your help. So often as college football players we are unable to address social issues or important causes. I have been afforded the opportunity to reach people on a medium that individuals seem to respond to. Childhood cancer robs children of their innocence every year:
1 in 300 children will be diagnosed with cancer before age 20.
Each year 3,000 children die and 40,000 remain in treatment.
Please help cure Childhood Cancer.

he goal is to reach 1,000,000 signatures, do your part. It will only take a minute.

Hey FWG,
good for you young man. Taking the time to pub a good cause. That's my SWG in the pic on the Petition. Quite a little receiver for his 8th Grade team. Athletic, fast, good hands. Caught some some long (80 yd) TD even in 7th grade. Looking forward to playing high school ball. Track Athlete of the Year. Hockey player. And better than all that, a great kid, great guy; my best friend. Alas, this horrible disease took him from me. Like it does 7 kids every single day. I appreciate your support.

People Against Childhood Cancer
Kids getting cancer or any serious illness has to be one of the saddest things. Hopefully this petition will result in more funds being dedicated to finding a cure. I've worked with Christopher's Haven for a few years now - they don't work on a cure for cancer, but instead provide housing for kids with cancer and their families when they're in Boston for treatment. It means a lot to me to be able to help them make this one small part of their hellish journey a little easier.
We're actually having a fashion show to benefit Christopher's Haven on Nov 13 in Boston. I know how football players love fashion.... ok so maybe your good looking gf's do. Attending is an easy way to help out a good cause.
Who says college students are unaware. Standing O for the FWG!
