This Week From Austria: White Bread? What?

In America...
All sandwiches are made from white bread (as pure and delicious as fallen snow). Coincidentally, they are also all made at the Statue of Liberty, which makes them delicious...but expensive.(hmmm tastes like freedom!....and Democracy!)

I didn't know there was an Aldi's in Klagenfurt!

In Austria it is called, "Hoffa"
But the logo and set up is the exact same as Aldis

Hoffa huh? So that explains why he's been missing all these years. He split country with the Teamster till and bankrolled investments in Austrian whole food markets.

I spent most of my childhood in Germany due to my dad being in the Army and being stationed there twice for long tours, and I LOVE the German an Austrian sourdough rye. :) So just like you're trying to find American white bread, I have a hard time finding the sliced sourdough rye that I love in the States!
